Financial statement analysis and business operation risk became Arne McDaniel's focus early in his career. He began valuing mid-market privately held businesses for acquisition and credit worthiness in 1967, while employed by Dun & Bradstreet, Inc.

Since then, he has owned or managed businesses in equipment leasing, management consulting, software, products marketing, business services, construction, advertising, and business brokerage.

As president of the investments division of a NYSE conglomerate, he managed a venture capital and business consolidation investment group. He has personally owned seven companies and has sold four of them. Through his direct efforts, more than $600 million in corporate transactions have been closed during the past twenty-five years. McDaniel has been involved in many of those transactions as an agent for either the seller or the buyer. McDaniel is a Certified Business Intermediary, a professional certification by the International Business Brokers Association.The IBBA has also honored McDaniel for professionalism, achievement, and service by naming him a Fellow of the IBBA.

He is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers; an association of professionals who are expert in business valuation. He is also active in the Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries.
